Plant Update - Qualification

You use the Plant Update screen - Qualification tab to add qualifications for a plant item. When employees are assigned to jobs where this plant item is in use, Micronet checks that the employee has the required qualifications before they can be assigned to the job.

To add or edit plant qualifications:

Add a new plant item or open an existing one.

Refer to "Adding a New Plant Item" or "Updating a Plant Item".

Select the Qualification tab.

Micronet displays the Plant Update screen - Qualification tab.

If you want to:

add a qualification, select the Add button
insert a qualification, select the line below where you want the qualification inserted then select the Insert button
delete a qualification, select the qualification then select the Delete button
edit a qualification, double click on a qualification or select a qualification then press Enter.

If you selected to add, insert or edit a qualification, Micronet displays the Enter Qualification screen.

Complete the following fields:

	Field	Value
	Code	Enter a qualification code that applies to this plant item, or press Enter to select from a list. Qualifications must already be setup in the Qualifications master file (refer to "File - Qualifications").
	Description	Micronet displays the qualification description.
	Compulsory	Select whether the qualification is compulsory. Options are: Yes – where specific qualification requirements have been established on plant, Micronet crosschecks the employee’s qualifications to ensure that only those with matching qualifications are permitted to work on the plant. No – qualification is recommended but not mandatory

Select the Accept button.

If you selected to add a qualification, Micronet redisplays the Enter Qualification screen so you can add further qualifications for this plant item.

When you have finished entering qualifications, select the Cancel button.

Micronet redisplays the Plant Update screen – Qualification tab showing all the qualifications added.

Select FILE | SAVE.
